The biggest trade show in the woodworking industry is the International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta, Georgia and RSA Solutions, a wood engineering software provider, was looking to make a splash on a tight budget and in an even tighter time-window. With most of the trade show's sponsorships sold and the RSA booth located at the back of the hall, a creative marketing strategy for getting foot traffic to their booth was imperative.
The Agency created a strategy built around strong creative, customer incentives, and custom sponsorship brokering. Sponsorship managers from Lot Thirty Two negotiated with show organizers to allow RSA promo cards to be handed out as attendees checked-in. The promo cards had an offer for a free "Man Glitter" t-shirt for anyone that stopped by the booth along with a schedule of show presentations conducted by RSA. Attendees walking by the booth were approached by RSA brand ambassadors and handed laser-etched wood tokens that could be redeemed for the promotional t-shirt. The simple yet effective and affordable strategy brought a record attendance of visitor's to the RSA booth.
